Legal medical industry in Arizona

Despite the federal government's latest action, a motion to dismiss Arizona Governor Jan Brewer's "request" to move forward with the state's medical marijuana program, caregivers and patients alike are still supplying and consuming marijuana to each other, despite not being able to buy it from a designated dispensary in their CHAA zone.
As we wait out the legislation, remember that official caregivers are able to cultivate and provide medical marijuana to patients. You can grow up to 12 plants per patient, assuming that the individual is residing more than 25 miles away from the nearest dispensary.
Once you’ve found a suitable cultivation site meeting the criteria set forth by your city, the cannabis can be grown either outdoors or indoors. In both cases there are very strict rules the facility must comply with as following:
This is subject to zoning rules set forth by individual cities and towns, and may restrict the location of the site to industrial or commercial areas. Leasing properties in such areas can often be a serious expense from an individual’s standpoint, but they are necessary.
