Legal medical industry in Arizona
Arizona is among 15 states that have laws permitting eligible patients to consume medicinal marijuana for the treatment of approved conditions and terminal illnesses. Eligibility for a marijuana recommendation depends upon both type and severity of an illness, and all patients must first speak with a physician to determine if medical marijuana is the right treatment for them.
Multiple Sclerosis or MS patients are now legally able to consume medical marijuana in the state of Arizona, and the benefits – as many patients and studies have demonstrated – seem to be highly effective in most cases.
MS often appears between the ages of 20 and 40, and is a disorder of the central nervous system which causes spasticity, pain, fatigue, bladder problems and depression. The common treatment for MS is usually symptomatic, though patients consuming medical marijuana were able to equally or most of the time more effectively lessen the symptoms of the disease.
